DONATE

BECOME A PART OF OUR TEAM! DONATE NOW!

As a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization, Earth and Space Expedition Center relies on donations in addition to our admission fees to visit the Museum portion of our Center.  We rely on individuals and corporations who see the need to support the lives we touch each year through a variety of programs and services we offer.

You can imagine what it takes to operate and maintain our building that houses one-of-a-kind pieces of art, space for corporate functions, camps and field trips for schools throughout the year. In addition, our staff reaches out across the state to take outreach programs to schools who cannot afford the cost of transportation to bring their students to us. Our outreach programs ensure that every child can have an equal opportunity to learn and develop their abilities.

All of that takes funding from a variety of sources and so we are extremely grateful to our valued contributors who have supported the Center since it began in 1999 in Arizona. In addition to these corporate donors, we are grateful to the individuals who have invested in our programs and services through their yearly gifts, their endowments personally and through a variety of grants that have been generously given to support this important work. We have also received in-kind services from community businesses which dramatically reduce our operating costs by providing specific donations of items or services. It all matters as we work to provide opportunities for each and every child in our state.

If you or your company believe in the work we are doing and the promotion of STEM education for all students, please help us break down the economic barriers for every child to have an opportunity to learn and grow and gain marketable skills for the future. By preparing, encouraging and educating now, we can meet those needs from within our own communities. This type of education will provide higher paying jobs for Arizona residents and will enable us to build strong communities. Your contribution stays in Arizona and can make an incredible difference!

Earth and Space Expedition Center is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, charitable organization, EIN #86-0851830. Donations are deductible to the extent allowed by law. Gifts may qualify as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes. It is always recommended that individuals talk with tax advisors or the IRS to determine a contribution is deductible.

TEEN INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Unpaid

The Earth & Space Expedition Center has implemented a teen internship program by application only. Teens must be 15 years or older to qualify.

Teens participating in this program must submit an application as well as a project outline for their internship. They will also need a resume, a letter of recommendation from their advisor and one from a parent.

Only a few teens will be selected each year, based on how many mentors are available to match with qualified candidates.

These internships have been created to give talented, innovative students an opportunity to delve deeper into a particular topic of interest as it relates to space and/or science and must be able to be illustrated as it relates to The Earth & Space Expedition Center. These topics must have a quantifiable outcome and must be able to be completed by the end of the school year or over the summer break.

Past interns have had an opportunity to work with mentors and meet industry leaders in their subject of interest and it has provided a network of support for successful participants.
